Founded in 2020, Kolkata
Floral Mongers was born in Kolkata in 2020, as part of International Mongers โ a conglomerate of ventures founded by Pritam Das, a seasoned International Trade and Business consultant with over two decades of experience across automotive engineering, e-commerce, import-export, and business development.
What began as a passion project exploring India’s extraordinary dried flower and botanical resources quickly became a serious business: connecting Indian artisan growers and processors with global buyers, while building a premium domestic brand that celebrates the art of dried florals.
The Founding Vision
India produces some of the world’s finest dried botanicals โ pampas grass, preserved rose varieties, lotus pods, palm leaves, and dozens of exotic dried stems. Yet much of this production went unseen on the global stage, and domestic consumers were still underexposed to the beauty and longevity of dried floral dรฉcor.
Floral Mongers was founded to change that: to build a brand that brings ethically sourced Indian dried florals to homes, events, and retail shelves across India and internationally.

Where We Are Today
Today, Floral Mongers operates from Kolkata with domestic retail and wholesale operations, an active export programme serving buyers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, and a growing digital presence through our online store and DIY Studio platform. We remain committed to our founding principles: ethical sourcing, artisan quality, and making dried florals accessible to all.
