The large centre is what you notice first on SO24. It fills a generous part of the flower’s face and is made from many short, square-cut strips in a warm tan tone, stacked in rising rings around a small folded core. The texture is deep and layered, much like the seed head of a real sunflower as it matures.
Around it, the petals are long and tapered to sharp points, arranged in several overlapping rings so the outline becomes a jagged, star-like halo. The petals are ivory white with fine fibre lines and a slight inward cup. Compared with the rounder, spoon-petalled white Sola Sunflower in the range, this version looks more dramatic and closer to a natural sunflower silhouette. The reverse, shown in the product images, is finished with a flat, round sola disc, and styled images place the flower in a wooden bowl, on hessian and in the hand.
SO24 is handcrafted in India from natural sola (shola) pith. The tan centre is the pith’s own warmer tone rather than a painted finish, and the fringed strips hold fragrance oils well for diffuser use.

The pointed petals and fringed centre are cut by hand, so petal length, centre height and the overall spread differ slightly between flowers. The tan and ivory tones are natural to the sola and can vary a shade from batch to batch. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
