Long, plump and slightly curved, the Bagon Fruit pod opens along one side to reveal a hollow interior with ridged inner walls. In our images the pods carry a vivid terracotta-orange colour over a pitted, almost leathery skin, with natural cracks and darker speckles showing through the finish. One end tapers to a short pointed tip.
Bagon Fruit is the trade name used in our catalogue. The coloured finish turns a quiet dried pod into a statement piece: a few pods laid on a console tray, wired into an autumn wreath or tucked into a tropical-style arrangement bring immediate warmth. The open side also lets stylists fill the cavity with moss or small dried buds.
Floral Mongers supplies Bagon Fruit loose, sorted to keep whole, well-shaped pods, and other colours or a natural finish can be discussed. A version fixed on a stick is listed separately in our range. The product suits exotic botanical importers, display designers and décor retailers.

- Console tray and shelf styling
- Natural vessels filled with moss or buds
- Retail window and visual merchandising
- Festive table centrepieces

Natural variation
Pod length, curve and width of the opening vary naturally, and colour settles unevenly into the pitted skin, so tone and speckling differ from piece to piece and batch to batch. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
Care & storage
- Keep dry; moisture can soften the pod and mark the colour
- Display away from direct sunlight to slow fading
- Handle by the body; split edges can crack
- Dust with a soft dry brush
