Coco Boat takes its name from its outline: a long, hollowed sheath that narrows to a point at each end, much like a canoe. The outer face is a muted greyish brown with fine parallel grain lines, while the concave inner face is a warmer copper-brown with soft mottling. The edges curl slightly inward, giving the piece a natural cradle shape.
This shape gives stylists plenty of options. Laid flat, a Coco Boat becomes a natural tray for dried flowers, pods and low centrepiece arrangements; stood upright in a floor vase, it adds a bold, sweeping line behind palms and grasses.
