Palm Cap turns a tough piece of palm sheath into something that looks like a large, open bloom. The dried sheath forms a deep cup with layered, overlapping sides whose edges are torn and gently curled, much like the petals of a tulip or peony that has just opened. Inside, the surface is smooth and glossy; outside, it is slightly paler and more fibrous.
The photograph shows four caps on straight natural sticks, each in a rich chestnut to caramel brown with darker shading at the base. Because the shape is so flower-like, the caps are often used as the focal blooms in exotic and tropical dried arrangements, alongside palm spears, sola flowers, lotus pods and grasses. They also work well in tall vases for hotel and restaurant décor.
Floral Mongers supplies Palm Cap on sticks for florists, décor wholesalers and retail brands looking for natural decorative flowers with a strong silhouette. The cups are packed so they do not nest tightly or crack at the rim.

Natural variation
Each cap is formed from a natural palm sheath, so the cup depth, edge shape, tearing and brown shading vary from piece to piece. Stick straightness and fixing may also differ slightly as the caps are hand-mounted. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
Care & storage
- Store dry and away from humidity
- Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to limit fading
- Hold by the stick; the curled rims can split if pressed
- Dust with cool air or a soft dry brush
