Where rope balls are chunky, the Sutli Ball is fine and even. HM10 is wrapped with thin sutli, the jute twine widely used in India, wound in close, parallel turns until the core disappears under a smooth, finely ribbed surface. On some balls the twine spirals out from a small centre point, a mark of the hand-winding process.
The colour is a muted taupe-beige, softer and cooler than raw jute rope. The image shows a group of balls from different angles, all with the same neat, closely packed winding and a gently matte finish with only light surface fibres.
Because of their calm colour and tidy texture, sutli balls suit minimal, Japandi and neutral interiors as well as rustic ones. They are used in bowls and trays, glass cylinders and baskets, on bookshelves and coffee tables, and as a textural element in hotel, spa and retail styling. Gift brands also use them in hampers and eco-themed packaging.
Floral Mongers supplies Sutli Balls in counted packs for wholesale and export.

Natural variation
Each ball is wound by hand, so winding direction, roundness and size differ slightly, and natural jute twine can vary in tone from light taupe to warmer beige. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
Care & storage
- Keep dry; jute twine absorbs moisture
- Avoid direct sunlight to limit fading
- Brush off dust with a soft, dry brush
- Store in a dry, closed carton
