AR47 is made almost entirely from rolled sola. Thin sheets of sola are curled into small cone and tulip-bud shapes, then packed tightly side by side around the ring so the open ends face outward, creating a thick, sculptural surface.
Most of the cones are left in natural ivory, showing the soft, matte grain of the pith. Groups of red and vivid magenta dyed cones are set in clusters at intervals around the wreath, breaking up the white with bold pops of colour. A loop of natural twine, tied with a contrasting green thread, forms the hanger.
The repeated cone shapes give AR47 a crisp, modern look that works for Valentine’s and Christmas décor, weddings and festive retail.
