LE15 takes the sunburst shape of the sun spear and gives it a warm, earthy colour. The fan is pleated and cut into a crown of long, sharp rays, and the whole piece — leaf and stem — is coloured a dusty terracotta rose.
The photograph shows three spears angled across one another. The shade sits between muted pink, clay and soft copper; the pleat ridges look lighter and slightly pinker, while the deeper folds take on a brick-brown tone, which gives the flat leaf a sense of volume.

Each spear comes from a natural leaf, so ray count, size and outline vary; the terracotta dye can look pinker or browner on individual leaves depending on how the fibre takes colour. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
