Egg-shaped and lightweight, Amra Pod is a dried fruit stone whose outer layer forms a raised network of fine fibres. After bleaching, that lattice takes on a soft cream-white tone with a faint pearly sheen, and in the photograph it looks almost woven, like a tiny basket wrapped around each pod.
Pale botanicals are always in demand for bridal, spa and Scandinavian-style interiors, and these pods fill that role well. Heaped in a white ceramic bowl or a glass cylinder, they give quiet texture without adding colour. Potpourri blenders mix them with bleached petals and white cones, and craft makers use them for garlands, ornaments and table scatter. The fibrous surface also takes fragrance oil readily.

Natural variation
The pods are natural, so size, oval shape and fibre pattern vary. Bleaching gives a soft cream rather than a uniform white, and slight tonal differences between pods and batches are normal. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
