Each HM03 piece is a round, open-weave ball made by winding fine lata (vine) strands in every direction, leaving small gaps that let light pass through. The ball is then set on a long, thin stick, so it behaves like a stem in an arrangement.
The natural finish shows a pale cane-beige colour with slight variations where the vine strands overlap. The image shows a group of balls on sticks at different heights, which is how they are most often styled: several stems in a tall vase, creating a playful, lollipop-like silhouette.
Because the stick gives height and the ball gives volume, these are easy to combine with dried grasses, palm leaves or sola flowers in mixed vases.
