Siuli, the fragrant night-flowering jasmine known across Bengal, is the inspiration for the Sola Siuli Flower SO72. The sola version keeps the simple star outline of the original: slender petals with softly rounded tips radiate from a very small coiled button at the centre.
The photograph shows the flower from two angles. From the front it is an open, five-petalled star; from the side a short tubular base is visible behind the petals, echoing the narrow tube of the real blossom. The petals are gently domed rather than flat, with faint vertical grain lines from the pith and a clean, ivory finish.
Its modest size and delicate shape make the Siuli useful where a light touch is needed: scattered across tables, threaded into garlands, pinned into hair accessories and corsages, or used as a filler between larger sola roses and lotuses. Natural variation
Each Siuli is formed by hand, so petal length, curvature and the size of the coiled centre vary slightly. The ivory colour of the natural pith may look warmer or cooler between batches.
