Broad bands of smooth, bright white sola alternate with bands of rough, bark-like brown sola skin, and they spiral in from one side of the ball to a twisted knot at the centre. On other faces the same bands run as straight horizontal stripes, so the ball looks different depending on how it is turned.
The contrast is not only in colour but in texture. The white bands are cut from the inner pith and feel sleek, while the brown bands keep the outer skin with its fine, scaly grain. This makes SO07 more graphic than most natural décor balls, and it stands out clearly in a mixed bowl. The product images show it in a woven basket, on a wood slice and grouped as a pile.

Natural variation
The bands are wound by hand, so stripe widths, the tightness of the central spiral and the stripe layout differ on every ball. The brown sola skin is a natural surface and varies in tone and grain from warm tan to deeper brown. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
