Where many sola lotuses are a single ivory tone, SO22 plays with contrast. Its outer petals are pointed and almond-shaped, but instead of plain white each one shows a panel of brown sola skin with a clear, wood-like grain, framed by a narrow ivory rim. Arranged in a double star, these petals form a warm, patterned backdrop.
Sitting on top is a large, densely layered centre that looks much like a full-blown rose, with many rounded ivory petals spiralling to a tight core.
