Natural variation
The brown bands come from the natural outer skin of the sola stem, so their width, tone and texture vary on every petal; petal length and the angle of the star points also differ slightly because each piece is handcut. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
