SO62 is the most open and expansive of the sola lotus styles. Its petals are long and broad, shaped like lances, and they lie in loose layers that spread almost flat, so the flower covers a wide area and reads clearly from across a room.
The petal faces are smooth with soft, satin-like grain, and the pith has a natural ivory tone with faint warm shading. In the centre, a compact tuft of cut sola strips curls upward, with the natural brown skin left on the tips so the heart shows a fine dark outline against the pale fringe.
Compared with fuller, many-layered lotus forms, SO62 has a lighter, more graphic silhouette. It works well floating in water bowls for display, fixed to wall panels and backdrops, used as a centrepiece base with candles, or combined with leaves and grasses in large-scale décor for events and hospitality spaces.

Natural variation
The long petals are cut and shaped by hand, so their width, curve and spread vary slightly; the brown tips on the centre come from the natural sola skin and differ in tone and depth on each flower. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
Care & storage
- Store in a cool, dry place; sola pith takes up moisture from humid air
- Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to limit gradual yellowing of the ivory pith
- Support the long petals from underneath; they can snap near the base
- Dust gently with a soft brush or a hair-dryer on a cool setting
- Diffuser or fragrance oil can be applied; test one piece first, as oil may darken the pith
- Unpack promptly on arrival and let the pieces air in a dry room; avoid storing in sealed, humid packaging
