The stems in our images rise with knobbly, jointed lower sections and then bend into sweeping loops and hooks towards the top, some curling back on themselves. Colour runs from dark chocolate to a warmer reddish brown where the surface is smoother.

Each stem has its own curl pattern, thickness and length, and nodes and colour tones vary naturally along the stick. Occasional small side shoots or marks are part of the dried material. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
