Bell cups are rounded natural pods with one open end, so each one looks like a small cup or bowl. The outer shell is smooth and firm, and the inside is lined with a soft, dark brown fibrous layer.

The shells are a warm peach-tan with light speckling, and the cut rim is slightly uneven, which gives each pod a natural, hand-picked character.
