HM12 takes the familiar hand-wound lata ball and gives it a white-washed, weathered finish. The vine strands carry a soft grey base with lighter white streaks along the edges, so the balls resemble sun-bleached driftwood rather than fresh cane.
Each ball is mounted on a thin natural stick. The image shows a group of balls on sticks arranged at staggered heights, with an open, looping weave that lets light and shadow pass through. The painted surface highlights the crossing strands and gives the ball a slightly textured, chalky feel.
The cool, muted tone suits contemporary, coastal and industrial interiors where warm beige vine would feel too rustic.
