Picture a gerbera or large daisy rendered in natural sola and you have the Juin Flower. SO14 has two overlapping rings of long, slender petals with rounded tips, each slightly grooved down the middle so it catches a line of shadow. The petals spread wide and flat, giving the bloom a clean, radiating outline.
What makes it distinctive is the centre. A tight spiral of sola is framed by a collar of short, fringed strips whose tips carry the brown of the natural sola skin, forming a speckled brown-and-ivory ring. This small touch of contrast gives SO14 a more botanical, realistic look than an all-white daisy. The underside, shown in the product images, is finished with a neat coiled base.
Juin is the trade name used in Bengal for this flower style, and SO14 is handcrafted there from sola (shola) pith. The open, flat face is ideal for gluing onto frames, boxes and wreaths, while the absorbent pith makes it suitable for diffuser use.
Floral Mongers supplies the Juin Flower in bulk for florists, craft retailers and export customers, natural or dyed.

Natural variation
Each Juin Flower is assembled by hand, so the spread of the petals, the tightness of the centre and the evenness of the two rings vary between pieces. The brown tips come from natural sola skin, so their depth of colour differs from flower to flower. These are natural characteristics of handmade and botanical products, not defects; shade, size and grade are confirmed on sample approval.
Care & storage
- Keep dry and away from direct sunlight
- Handle by the base to avoid snapping the slender petals
- Dust with a cool air setting or a soft brush
- Store flat, face-up, in a rigid box
- Unpack promptly on arrival and let the pieces air in a dry room; avoid storing in sealed, humid packaging
