Round and spiky, Casurina Pod looks like a tiny burr. Each pod is a compact sphere studded all over with short, pointed and slightly hooked projections, with small cavities between them. In the photograph the whole group shares an even, rich brown with a matt, woody finish, and the sizes sit close to one another, so the pods look consistent when grouped.
